LEMON MYRTLE ESSENTIAL OIL

With a scent like pure lemon citrus, essential oil Lemon Myrtle has become an absolute favourite within the natural health and wellness world.

If you’re wondering what Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil is good for, the answer is many things – from decongestion to general cleaning! Steam distilled from the leaves of the Australian-grown Backhousia citriodora tree, a strong and refreshingly sweet lemony aroma makes it a well-liked oil. Of all the lemon oils, this popular Native Australian Essential Oil is particularly high in citral, responsible for that wonderful citrussy smell. Yet the benefits of Australian lemon myrtle essential oil go beyond its beautiful scent, with the ability to improve mental focus, eliminate bacteria, ease pain and inflammation, and calm the skin.

Now a highly popular essential oil for aromatherapy, Lemon Oil properties can be appreciated either diffused and inhaled or diluted and applied topically. That beautiful citrussy scent also lends itself to perfumery, as well as being a natural steriliser for cleaning homes and deterring insects.

  • Rich in citral, Lemon Myrtle Oil contains powerful antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties – not to mention emitting that beautiful citrussy scent.
  • A powerful skin protector, Lemon Myrtle’s antioxidant and antibacterial benefits help combat acne, reduce signs of ageing, and promote clearer, healthier skin.
  • In aromatherapy, the cheerful and revitalising essence of Lemon Myrtle Oil has been seen to act as a natural stress reliever, bringing peace of mind to those feeling overwhelmed.
  • The aromatic Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil benefits are also known to help improve concentration and focus the mind.
  • When applied topically, the antimicrobial, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties of Lemon Myrtle Oil work together to help ease muscle pain and inflammation.
  • The citral in Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil is also known to help ease chest congestion via inhalation or topical application.
  • The potent antibacterial and antifungal properties within Lemon Myrtle Oil make it one of the best essential oils for cleaning; in fact, it has been seen to be more effective than Tea Tree Oil.
  • Because of its subtly sweet, warm, and deeply refreshing aroma, Lemon Myrtle Oil is highly valued in high-end perfumery
